Common questions
Quick answers to things people often ask.
Is a drop the same as $DROP?
No. A drop is a tiny unit of XRP. $DROP is a separate token on the XRP Ledger.
Do I need XRP to use $DROP?
Yes. Keep some XRP in your wallet for network fees and the XRP Ledger account reserve.
What is a trustline for?
It lets your XRP Ledger account hold a token such as $DROP. Your wallet will ask you to approve it.
How can I check that I have the real $DROP?
Check the issuer address against the one on this site. Token names and logos can be copied.
Does a DEX take control of my wallet?
No. Your wallet holds your assets and asks you to approve each transaction. Never share your recovery words or secret keys.
Why do holder totals vary between sites?
Sites can count wallets, trustlines, exchange accounts, and NFT owners differently. Check what each number includes.
Does the pool APR tell me what I will earn?
No. It estimates a past rate from recent fees. Trading activity and pool value change, so future returns can be higher or lower.
Can I lose money by adding liquidity?
Yes. Token prices can move while your assets are in a pool, and you may get back less value than you put in.
Can I reverse a completed XRP Ledger transaction?
No. Once confirmed, a transaction cannot be undone. Check the details before approving it in your wallet.
Where does the XRP transaction fee go?
The small network fee is destroyed by the XRP Ledger. It does not go to DROP or the wallet app.
